To allow Future Forestry to undertake tree removal works, Aberdeenshire Council will be closing the A944 at Invermossat near Alford for five days from October 31.

Access will be provided for vehicles requiring access to properties in this area but this may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage.

As the council cannot divert traffic onto roads which are not suitable for larger vehicles, the diversion route is via the A944 Invermossat – A97 Mossat; A97 – B9002 Gartly; B9002 – B992 Insch; B992 – A944 Whitehouse.
