PICTURES: Banff Vinery event helps mark Grampian Wellbeing Festival month
The importance of good physical and mental health was the focus of an event at The Vinery in Banff on Saturday.
It was part of the Grampian Wellbeing Festival which has been held across the region during the month of May.
At the Banff event there were lots of community groups in attendance, activities, inflatable fun and music.
A bunting competition was held for the schools in the area which was contested between Aberchirder, Banff, Ordiquhill, Portsoy and Whitehills. Deputy Lieutenant of Banffshire Vinay Ruparelia selected Ordiqhill as the winner.
Banff Academy pupils have been taking part in a wellbeing challenge during May which was won by Naomi Angus, who was presented with her prize at the event.
Certificates were also handed over to Robert Walsh, Dale Stewart, Jacqueline McKnight and Ross McKnight who completed the Learning and Growing Together course organised by One Seed Forward.
Originally founded by Public Health Aberdeenshire, the festival has seen Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP), NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership and Moray Health and Social Care join forces, to reach as many people as possible.
