Fantasy Con Scotland heads to Aberdeen's Beach Ballroom
Northern Frights, Scotland's first horror and fantasy event company, is excited to announce that Fantasy Con Scotland will be taking place on August 13 at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom.
This event promises to be a fantastic fantasy experience, filled with exciting adventures for adults and children alike.
Fantasy Con Scotland will feature a cosplay competition, role-play events, quests, magic, and the opportunity to meet with many traders, dragons, and favourite actors from movies.
Laura Ripley, director of Northern Frights, said: "We are working on a fantasy event that everyone will remember. "You will get to meet some actors from the fantasy world, such as Tav MacDougall from Harry Potter, Leigh Gill from Game of Thrones and The Witcher, Clem So from Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy and Ross Mullan from Game of Thrones and Doctor Who.
1The cosplay competition is expected to be one of the main highlights of the event, with great prizes up for grabs.
"It's a great chance to get creative and bring your friends and family for a fun time," added Laura Ripley.
Fantasy Con Scotland is a family-friendly event, with children under the age of six admitted free of charge.
There will be plenty of activities to keep them entertained throughout the day including storytellers, magic school and a childrens disco in the afternoon in the upstairs room.
Tickets for Fantasy Con Scotland are on sale now, and attendees are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
"As a cosplayer, I will certainly attend! It's exciting to see this event taking place in Aberdeen, as the city desperately needs more fantasy events. I also noticed on their website that there will be more than 30 different traders, which is great to see local businesses becoming involved," said a Northern Frights customer.
