Grampian Oportunities relaunch in Inverurie sees it offer more innovative services for those with life long conditions

It was all go at Grampian Opportunities (GO), West High Street Inverurie for a grand re-launch on Wednesday writes Griselda McGregor.

Now GO is offering innovative services offering folk with long term conditions, autism and other challenges.

The recently spruced-up premises with comfy chairs , activity tables and refreshments are a most attractive and friendly venue.

On Wednesday visitors were invited to sample an extended programme of activities - GO creative with the arts and crafts club, a Go forward learners club, sing, move, paint, a drumming class, decorate a cookie, jigsaw corner, groups for educational and social skills to name a few.

Outside community engagement arts tutor Millie Farmer was executing lightning sketches to willing 'models.'

Chair of the board of trustees Diane King also had good news to share: . "GO has been awarded Scottish government funding until 2027 for Support in the Right Direction.We want to give a huge thanks to all the support from businesses and individuals we have had in the past 6 months getting ready for our Re-launch."
