Sports clubs and groups in the north-east have until Sunday, May 19 to submit an application to Aldi’s Scottish Sport Fund.

MP Richard Thomson said: “Aldi have already shown themselves to be one of the strongest supporters of Scottish produce in the recent NFUS ‘Shelfwatch’ survey.

“I’m delighted they are now offering strong support to local sporting groups in the north-east through their Scottish Sport Fund.

“As well as sports clubs, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and scout and guide groups are also eligible to apply, so I would encourage as many groups as possible from the North-east to get their applications in.”
