Farmfoods prepares to open the doors of its flagship store in Inverurie this weekend
Frozen food chain Farmfoods is preparing to open the doors in Inverurie this weekend of its newest flagship store, the largest in Scotland.
Farmfoods Property Director Alistair Kay said: “We are delighted to be returning to serve the town following the closure of our old shop nearby at North Street in 2020.The new shop will be our largest in Scotland and has a bespoke design which includes use of local granite stone on the building. It will offer our full range of branded and own-brand products including frozen food, groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household and other items.”
The Constitution Street location which is built on the site of the former health centre benefits from a large free customer car park and will be open seven days a week, Mon - Fri 8am-9pm; Sat / Sun 8am-8pm.
Customers can visit www.farmfoods.co.uk to sign up to receive occasional special offers, discounts and exclusive deals. After signing up they will also be emailed some personal money-off vouchers for extra savings on their shopping.
With a turnover now exceeding £1bn, family owned Farmfoods currently has 341 stores across the UK made up of a total of 225 in England, 91 in Scotland and 25 Wales as of the start of May and is currently looking to add further ones to its portfolio at a rate of around 20 -30 per year according to date published in trade magazine The Grocer.
