Divas, boybands and musicals on the menu at north-east theatre’s eatery
The Terrace Bar and Cafe will be reaching for the stars as it celebrates the very best Divas and Boybands in newly introduced events at the His Majesty’s Theatre eatery.
The latest in the curated The Terrace presents.. series puts the spotlight on everyone’s favourite pop songs with an evening dedicated to Divas on Friday, May 31, and a Boybands night on Friday, June 7.
The ever-popular Musicals Afternoon Teas will also make a welcome return on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, all in association with Right Here Productions.
Aberdeen Performing Arts director of finance and commercial Matt Godfrey said: “We have had a fantastic response to our previous events from Right Here Productions at The Terrace including the much-loved Musicals Afternoon Teas and Murder Mystery Nights.
“The newly announced Divas and Boybands nights will promise delicious food, drinks, a great atmosphere and fabulous entertainment – what more could you need?”
Right Here Productions’ Alison Telfer said: “We’re all so excited to be bringing our Divas and Boybands nights to The Terrace.
“Both shows are packed full of great songs that will keep everyone entertained all night, performed by my incredibly talented team.
“There will be plenty of opportunities to clap, sing and dance along – all forms of audience participation are welcome!
“And of course, we’re delighted to be back again with more Musicals Afternoon Teas. With yet another brand new set list, and two new faces performing, its shaping up to be a top class afternoon of musical theatre joy!”
Divas Night will serve up an evening of favourite artists from Whitney Houston to Beyonce, from Dusty Springfield to Taylor Swift, ranging from the 1960s to modern day, all in the beautiful surroundings of The Terrace.
From the earliest days of boybands to modern classics from the likes of Take That and One Direction, Boybands night celebrates the whole genre with both evenings offering a choice of sharing platters as well as a signature cocktail or glass of prosecco while being serenaded live by the talented team at Right Here Productions.
The Musicals Afternoon Tea promises an afternoon of entertainment bringing a slice of the West End to the north-east. Enjoy favourite songs from the musicals sung live while sampling a selection of sandwiches, savoury treats and assorted cakes plus signature cocktail or glass of prosecco.
