Award recognition for Banff’s Airlie Gardens

Banff’s Airlie Gardens was recognised in Hanover Scotland’s inaugural Spotlight Awards.

They highlighted the many stars across the organisation who play an important role in delivering Hanover’s wider strategy.

Maureen Simpson, development manager at Airlie Gardens, scooped up the award for Best Development.

The Spotlight Awards have been dedicated to recognising the talent and hard work of Hanover’s employees.

They celebrate their dedication and contributions to the organisation and the housing developments they look after.

From innovative project leaders to compassionate care providers, the Spotlight Awards recognised a wide array of talents and skills.

Each award recipient is celebrated for their unique contributions, illustrating the diversity and excellence within Hanover and their commitment to the organisation’s values.

The Spotlight Awards serve as a reminder of the power of teamwork and the importance of acknowledging those who excel in their roles and the impact they have on Hanover’s customers.

Nominations were received for 10 award categories:

• Outstanding Leader Award

• Leadership Award

• Unsung Contribution Award

• Rising Star Award

• Values Award

• Service Improvement Award

• Volunteer of the Year Award

• Lifetime Achievement Award

• Team of the Year Award

• Best Development Award

Airlie Gardens’ Maureen Simpson collected the Best Development Award as a result of the outstanding contribution to the homes and grounds at Airlie Gardens and the activity programme on offer.

Hanover Scotland said Maureen’s commitment to excellence is truly inspiring and cherished by those at Airlie Gardens and their families.

Angela Currie, CEO of Hanover Scotland, said: “Congratulations to the team and customers at Airlie Gardens.

“Their achievements reflect the passion, dedication and excellence that define Hanover Scotland.

“We are immensely proud to have such an exceptional group driving our mission and contributing to life on the development.”

Maureen said: “It was an honour to receive a Spotlight Award on behalf of Airlie Gardens.

“I am so lucky to have a job that connects me with such wonderful people and be able to help them live their lives as independently as possible.”

All the category winners will receive vouchers and be invited to a coffee morning in their region to celebrate their success.
